"We will be donating 10% of the invoice value exclusive of vat to St Catherine's Hospice," he says. "This donation will be made on the invoices of all new customers that become aware of our services through our connection with the Hospice. It extends to our bag collection service and the purchase or rental of our secure shredding cabinets.
I recently attended a networking breakfast at St Catherine's Hospice at which several members of the St Catherine's team spoke eloquently and passionately about the ongoing need to generate funds to keep the Hospice at the heart of the community. I believe that any business, regardless of its size or purpose can make a commitment to a worthy local charity without having to make a huge financial sacrifice."

Potts has enlisted a top performing team to help him to launch and grow the business. Multi-award winning Chartered Marketer and bestselling business author Dee Blick has been retained by the business, as has Steve Rham, director of the Crawley Chamber of Commerce and a local businessman of some long-standing. Mike Potts said, "I've worked with both Dee and Steve for many years now. They both have different but complementary skills.
Dee will be responsible for our marketing platform which will entail developing our customer communications and delivering our targeted campaigns. Steve will be responsible for meeting potential S4B clients face-to-face.

There is a huge demand for document shredding and recycling services which looks set to increase as more businesses realise that doing the right thing for the environment does not have to cost the earth!"

"In the last few weeks, we’ve seen the demand for our bag only service from home-based businesses rocket," said Steve Rham from S4B. "They are looking for destruction of their unwanted documents in a secure and environmentally friendly way because they don't have the storage room in their home office. And, with more businesses starting at home and staying at home, this demand can only increase."

Today's savvy business knows that being environmentally responsible is not just the right thing to do for the Planet it also gives them a leading edge over competitors.

Says Chartered Marketer Dee Blick, "in recent months I’ve seen businesses stipulate in their tender documents that the businesses applying to supply them with products or services must demonstrate their environmental policy if they are to get past the first stage of the tendering process.
A business choosing to have their unwanted documentation collected, shredded and recycled is sending out two positive messages to potential customers. Firstly they don't compromise with their client's security and secondly that they are doing their utmost to minimise their impact on the environment. This will give them a definite edge in an increasing environmentally aware marketplace."
